Cape May Dog Gets A MugShot

On July 14th a pug named Bean was found wondering around some yards in Cape May, New Jersey. Bean didn’t have an address on his name tag so the people who found him called the police.

The Cape May Police Department brought Bean back to their station and decided to find a fun creative way to find his owner. They “booked him” and took a mugshot to put online.

The caption of the photo said,

“This is what happens when you run away from home. This guy was captured sneaking through yards on the 1300 block on New Jersey Avenue.#pugmug,”

The picture was shared a couple hundred times and very quickly Bean’s owner reached out to the police department.

He was finally released on bail later that day.
