Italy Vacationers Could Be Sunbathing In Plastic Boxes After Coronavirus

The folks over at The Sun put an interesting article online about the future of going to the beach in Italy and we wanted to know your thought on it.

Just like how we want to jump back on the beach, a company in Italy has came up with a plan for visitors to use “plexiglass boxes” while on the beach to reduce the spread of coronavirus.

The company, Nuova Neon Group 2, designed the boxes to be big enough, 15 feet x 15 feet, for two chairs and an umbrella with a max of three people inside. This would give people inside about 215 square feet of space to relax in the sun.

Nuova Neon Group 2 feel that these boxes would allow people to enjoy the beach but give enough protection to allow people to feel safe.

Mauro Vanni, the president of the Rimini lifeguards cooperative, had this to say to an Italian news channel;

“Whoever comes to the sea wants to stay in the open air and not in what looks like a chicken coop.”

My question for you is this, and please vote below, would you do this to be able to get back on the beach? Vote below!!!

Would you do this to be able to get back on the beach?
