New Things Coming To Morey’s Piers

There are tons of new things coming to The Wildwoods this summer and Morey’s Piers gives us great reasons to be excited for this summer! Below explains all the new things happen on Morey’s Piers. Thank you Morey’s Piers for providing all this information below.

KONG:  An iconic boardwalk landmark in early 1970s, the new gorilla themed amusement ride will open to the public Memorial Day weekend on Surfside Pier. KONG, snorting smoke and fog, will sport an “I love Wildwood” t-shirt and clutch one of Wildwood’s well-known tram cars while hanging from the 60 feet tall lighthouse at the ride’s center. Eight vintage shark themed ride vehicles will duck and dive around the infamous gorilla, bringing riders 26 feet in air. After sunset, KONG will light up the night sky with a rotating light on top of the lighthouse and enhanced LED lighting outlining each ride vehicle.

Underneath the ride is Kong & Co. a new 3,000 square foot retail space offering charging stations and comfy chairs, as well as chocolate covered frozen bananas and merchandise for purchase.

Wild Weekends: The Starlux and Blue Palms Resort are offering special “Wild Weekend” hotel packages that include three-night accommodations, two water park and ride combo passes for three days, VIP front of the line passes to KONG, two complimentary chocolate covered bananas, and a welcome gift. The “Wild Weekend” package is available for arrivals on Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Rates for the three-night package start at $433 at The Starlux and $374 at the Blue Palms Resort.  Packages are available May 21-25, May 28-30, June 4-8, June 11-15, and June 18-22 and are subject to availability. To book, guests can call the resort and mention the “Wild Weekends” package.
