Saying Goodbye to Woody’s Cafe

Saying Goodbye to Woody’s Cafe

About a month ago we announced that a Small Fire Was Reported At Former Woody’s Café.

Since 2014 Woody’s Café, located at 18th and New Jersey, has been sitting empty and vacant. For those who don’t remember Woody’s Café was half restaurant and half liquor store.

A few days later many citizens asked for the city to step in to do something about the building.

According to the Mayor Rosenello the city will begin a process of having the building ripped down. The downside is that it will take some time for this to happen.

To legally have a building torn down there are steps that need to take place. The program is called Clean and Lien.

In this case the city of North Wildwood will place the building as an “unsafe structure” and then rip it down. Once torn down a lien will be on the property.

These steps could take up to sixty (60) days to happen.

With a potential only 60 days to see this building we decided to film what it looks like for the video archive.
