Currently in New Jersey we are in Stage 2 of the covid-19 reopening plan with a Stage 3 date not announced as of yet.

This new stage, which only started on Monday June 15th, allowed Outdoor dining and limited in-person retail.

In addition to these the Governor has allowed boardwalk games to reopen and even gave us a date of June 22nd to open pools.

What does this mean for down here.

At this time arcades, amusement rides, pools will NOT be open for this weekend.

Many boardwalk businesses do not have an outdoor seating area which would mean that they are could be take-out only.

The beaches are open to sit and enjoy! The weather for this weekend is a bit cloudy and isn’t looking like beach weather but it’s nice to have the option to relax.

When your done eating be sure to put your trash in the cans and keep the trash out of the street.

Bars are open for drinks to-go. This is something very new. If you want the full article click HERE but the gist is that now you can get drinks from your favorite bar and take it home to drink it.

Motels and Hotels ARE open! Give your favorite spot a call and see if they have any rooms open. Pools will be allowed to open on June 22nd (Click the link below for more details)
