With the pandemic impacting most of the world and our local area, there was bound to be events that were going to be cancelled or rescheduled.

The Wildwoods tourism released a press release that provides an update to it’s calendar. Below is the press release.

The health and safety of residents, visitors, and the business community are the Wildwoods’ number one priority. That is why, based on the recommendations of the Cape May County Health Department, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, Department of Emergency Management and Center for Disease Control (CDC) regarding the spread of COVID-19, event organizers and promoters announce the following event updates in the Wildwoods:

Rescheduled Events

  • Garden Bros Circus – rescheduled to Friday, May 1

  • Wildwoods Spring Bridal Expo – rescheduled to Sunday, May 3

  • SPARK with the Masters of Marketing and Mindfulness – rescheduled to Wednesday, May 13

  • Family Fun Night & Bonfire – rescheduled to Friday, April 24

  • ‘War at the Jersey Shore’ National Youth Wrestling Championships – rescheduled to Friday, April 24 through Sunday, April 26.

  • Business at the Beach Expo – rescheduled to Wednesday, September 23

  • MudHen Race Series – rescheduled as a virtual run

  • Tall Cedars Convention – rescheduled date TBA

Cancelled Events

  • Luxury Bag Bingo – cancelled

  • Girl Scouts ‘Passport Around the World’ – cancelled

  • Special Olympics NJ Spring Basketball Finals – cancelled

  • Cape May County Healthcare Resource Day – cancelled

  • Fishing & Boating Expo – cancelled

  • Wholesale Gift Show – cancelled

  • Elks Annual Easter Egg Hunt – cancelled

  • Greater Wildwood Jaycees Easter Egg Hunt – cancelled
