Coming to the Wildwoods this August is the Mixed Martial Arts Tournament. This will mark the 10th year that The North American Grappling Association (or known as NAGA) has brought the Mixed Martial Arts Tournament “Battle of the Beach” to Wildwood New Jersey.

The Mixed Martial Arts Tournament will be from Saturday August 8th until Sunday August 9th. It will take place at the Wildwood Convention Center located at 4501 Boardwalk, Wildwood, NJ 08260. (This is Berks and the Boardwalk)

The Mixed Martial Arts Tournament will feature 300 gi and no-gi divisions. The fights will be laid out depending on what level you are at.  Saturday will be the adult gi & no-gi competition, while Sunday will be the children and teen gi & no-gi competitions.

According to the NAGA fighter, the fights will be ranked. NAGA explains this by saying,

“All NAGA events are part of the nationwide ranking system entitled ranked. Our goal is to determine who the best grapplers in the country are for various age, gender, and skill levels.  Battle at the Beach will be nationally ranked so do not miss your opportunity to gain points towards a true national title.”

Awards will be presented to the winners in each category.

Competitions on Saturday will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will feature adult and teen divisions only.
Competitions on Sunday will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature youth divisions only.

Admission is $15 per person and tickets will be available at the door the day of the event. Children 7 years old and under are free of charge.
