Should Wildwood Consider A Plastic Bag Ban?

There was an interesting article posted in the Cape May Herald yesterday that brought up an interesting question; Should Wildwood Consider A Plastic Bag Ban?

The background of this story goes over to our sister town of Cape May who adopted a ban on single use plastics. These are things such as grocery bags, food packaging, bottles, straws, containers, cups and cutlery.

During a Board of Commissioners meeting on Feb 12th Al Brannen, who runs our George F. Boyer Historical Museum, asked Mayor Byron if Wildwood could consider the same ban.

Mayor Byron said that “It’s a righteous call.”

My question, if you the public, is this something you want?
