The City of North Wildwood has started construction right off 22nd street and the boardwalk.
In the past few years the city had noticed that there had been many backups due to the excessive amounts of cars dropping off people to visit Seaport Pier. The city has decided that they wanted to make a change to the street so that dropping off passengers would be easier.
A new roundabout is being built along with ADA complain curb ramps. Along with the construction the city decided to take the opportunity to upgrade the sewer mains and storm drainage pipes.
We filmed what the street looks like today with no ramp.
