We have all heard the saying… “it’s a mile to the water!” but is there any truth to it?
In all of the years that I’ve been doing social media down here in the Wildwoods, I have yet to hear an actual figure on how big the beaches are.
While the waterline does change from time to time, I wanted to figure out how big our beaches truly are.
Well, today we are doing just that! We took our DJI Spark drone to the beach to measure how far it is from the end of the boardwalk to the water’s edge.
The first step was to find, what we thought, would be the biggest part of the beach.
After speaking to a few folks, we settled on Andrews Ave, which is located one block south of the Wildwoods Convention Center.
