The Northeast’s largest outdoor country music fest, in conjunction with Southern Entertainment, announces Darius Rucker as the second headlining artist of the third Annual Barefoot Country Music Fest, June 15-18, 2023.

South Carolina native, Darius Rucker, is an American country music singer, songwriter, and philanthropist. With more than fifteen awards and nominations since his debut in 1986, Rucker has become a highly accredited artist within the music industry. He initially gained recognition as the lead vocalist of the rock band, Hootie and the Blowfish, before releasing his first country solo single in 2008. His success has warranted both regional and national recognition. The Barefoot Country Music Fest is honored to host Grammy Award-winning artist, Darius Rucker, on the shores of Wildwood in June of 2023.

Rucker has also advocated for over 200 charitable causes supporting public education and junior golf programs in South Carolina through the Hootie & the Blowfish Foundation and serves as a National Chair for the National Museum of African American Music in Nashville.
