Wildwoods Halloween Decor Tour 2023
Halloween in the beach towns of North Wildwood, Wildwood, and Wildwood Crest is a unique and enchanting experience, where the salty sea breeze mingles with the spooky ambiance of the season.
These coastal communities have a longstanding tradition of adorning their picturesque shorehouse and charming streets with Halloween decorations that set them apart from typical Halloween festivities.
It’s an absolute treat to witness some of your cherished shore houses undergo a spine-tingling transformation.
However, this year marked a departure from tradition, as Morey’s Piers’ iconic Giant Wheel remained unlit in its customary Halloween themes due to an ongoing restoration project.
For the first time in many years, the colossal jack-o’-lantern wheel refrained from casting its radiant orange glow over the beach and boardwalk, leaving a noticeable void in the Halloween spectacle.
But fret not if you can’t make it down to witness these fascinating decorations in person.
The Wildwood Video Archive took the initiative to traverse the streets and capture some of the most creatively adorned houses for your viewing pleasure. Embarking in North Wildwood and journeying down the island, we made sure to visit every house that sent shivers down our spines.
We’d love to hear your thoughts and discover which house was your personal favorite; feel free to share your opinions in the comment section of the video.
