Steve’s Prince of Steaks Wildwood – Review
Steve’s Prince of Steaks debuted in Wildwood on April 20, filling the space once held by Classic Sandwiches at 2701 New Jersey Ave.
Plans for this new cheesesteak joint were revealed last year at the intersection of New Jersey and Juniper Ave.
Their opening day saw them closing early due to selling out of food, signaling a strong start. Ever since they’ve become a hit on the island.
We swung by for a quick tour and review, which you can watch at the bottom of this video.
Over the past few months, we have watched this corner go through a massive transformation. The business that used to call this home, Classic Sandwiches, had a very unique look which included bright green paint on the outside.
Those who have visited the other locations of Steve’s Prince of Steaks would know that they also have their own look which includes a stainless–steel exterior and a ton of neon.

As the Wildwoods are known as the Doo-Wop capital of the world the more neon the better!
The local sign, ABS Sign Co, who also created many of the iconic neon signs on the island, created this one for Steve’s Prince of Steaks. At night it is beautiful as it lights up the corner.
From now until summer hits they will be open from 11 am to 8 pm daily. These hours will change as summer hits since you know that anytime is a good time for cheese steak.
It’s no secret that Steve’s is known for having some of the best steaks in Philly, but will a move to the Jersey Shore be the right move? Let’s talk about it in the video below.
