North Wildwood Christmas Events Announced 2024
The North Wildwood Business Owners Association (NWBOA) is bringing the holiday spirit to life with a lineup of festive events this season.
Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly bonfire, a dog-friendly stroll, or an evening of Christmas cheer, North Wildwood has something for everyone. Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of this year’s holiday celebrations!
Friday, November 29 – Family Holiday Beach Bonfire
Kick off the holiday season with a cozy Family Holiday Beach Bonfire on Friday, November 29, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 1st & Surf Ave., North Wildwood.
Enjoy family-friendly fun with music, a toasty firepit, and free photo opportunities with Santa and other winter characters.
The North Wildwood Volunteer Fire Company #1 is hosting this event, and all are welcome!
A small donation of $10 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under is encouraged to support the fire company’s efforts. In case of rain, the event will be held on November 30.
November 29 – December 1 – Christmas in North Wildwood
Starting on Friday, November 29, the Christmas in North Wildwood celebration will run through Sunday, December 1, along Olde New Jersey Avenue (200 block of W. 10th Ave. and the 100 block of East 17th Ave.). This weekend-long event kicks off on Friday at 2 p.m. and continues at noon on Saturday and Sunday.

Visitors can stroll through the holiday-decorated streets, enjoy outdoor firepits, warm up with hot chocolate, and soak in the sights and sounds of Christmas. Saturday, December 7 – Santa Paws
Dog lovers won’t want to miss Santa Paws on Saturday, December 7. This unique event, which starts at Owens Pub and ends at the North Wildwood Entertainment District, is all about our furry friends! Dress up your pup in festive attire and join in for a doggie-friendly walk along Olde New Jersey Avenue.
The route starts at 1 p.m., and local establishments will offer doggie treats and photo ops for pups and their owners. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes, so bring your holiday spirit! The exact route will be announced closer to the date. Check NW-BOA.com for updates.
Saturday, December 7 – North Wildwood Tree Lighting Ceremony
Later that day, on December 7, the North Wildwood Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse Courtyard.
The event begins at 5 p.m. and will include all the holiday favorites: music, refreshments, Santa & Mrs. Claus, face painting, balloon twisting, and even a self-guided tour of the lighthouse.

Saturday, December 14 – 12 Pubs of Christmas
Wrap up the holiday celebrations with the 12 Pubs of Christmas on Saturday, December 14. This adults-only event combines holiday cheer with the local pub scene.
Starting at 2 p.m. and continuing until 10 p.m., a free jitney will transport guests between participating pubs, allowing you to safely enjoy happy hour pricing, holiday decor, and festive vibes all around North Wildwood.
