Atlantic City Airshow Cancelled for 2025
In a major announcement, officials revealed that the Atlantic City Airshow will be canceled for 2025.
The Greater Atlantic City Chamber confirmed the decision, citing the need for a “strategic pause” to reevaluate the event’s operations.

The Airshow, a longstanding tradition in the region, is now on hold as organizers take time to assess community engagement, costs, logistics, and potential future improvements.
The goal is to ensure the Airshow’s long-term viability, with hopes to return in 2026.
“The Atlantic City Airshow will take a strategic pause for 2025. We will use this time to reevaluate the overall operations of the show—reevaluating community engagement, assessing costs, reviewing logistics, and creatively considering what future Atlantic City Airshows could look like,” a spokesperson explained in a statement.

“It is our sincere hope that we will once again be in a position to hold an Airshow in 2026. Our goal is to ensure the long-term viability of the Airshow—it is New Jersey’s largest free event, a 20-year tradition, that has brought joy to hundreds of thousands of visitors and residents alike.”
The Airshow, which has been a beloved summer event for two decades, is a major draw for both residents and tourists. However, the 2025 cancellation comes amid challenges for the event.
The 2024 Airshow had already been canceled earlier this year after a major act withdrew from the lineup.
This setback followed efforts by the South Jersey Transportation Authority, which provided hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding to save the 2024 event.
The Airshow typically attracts over 500,000 visitors during its two-day run each August, generating an estimated $50 million economic boost for the city. Without it, the city could feel some major hurt.
The Airshow has long been a cornerstone of the region’s tourism economy, and officials are committed to preserving its legacy while adapting to evolving economic challenges.
As the future of the Atlantic City Airshow is reevaluated, organizers remain dedicated to ensuring the event’s success and sustainability.
