Mayor Rosenello, who has called North Wildwood home for decades, has been a driving force in the community, tackling major issues like beach erosion, storm recovery, and infrastructure improvements.

Under his leadership, North Wildwood navigated crises such as Winter Storm Jonas, the COVID-19 pandemic, and ongoing coastal challenges, all while maintaining its reputation as one of the most beloved Jersey Shore destinations.

Perhaps his most lasting legacy is his unwavering commitment to shore protection and revitalization. Over the years, Rosenello championed efforts to safeguard North Wildwood’s beaches, expand public facilities, and enhance recreational opportunities for both residents and visitors.

His tenure saw significant improvements to the boardwalk, local parks, and city services—all aimed at making North Wildwood a better place to live and visit.

However, while he is stepping down as mayor, Rosenello isn’t leaving public service entirely. Instead, he has announced plans to run for City Council, returning to his roots to continue working toward the city’s future. “North Wildwood still has work to do, and I believe I can continue to contribute to our shared goals in a different capacity,” he stated.
