North Wildwood’s New Beach Bar Is Officially Open – Tour Video

Grab your flip-flops and your beach best, because North Wildwood just leveled up its summer game. That’s right – the long-anticipated beach bar at Seaport Pier is finally OPEN.

Outdoor seating area under a thatched roof with people dining.Seaport Pier itself, located at 22nd and the boardwalk, has been a part of North Wildwood’s fabric for the past few summers, but every year they add something to the pier to make it even better.

In the past two seasons, we’ve seen them roll out new bars and a revamped menu that keeps the summer flavors flowing. And let’s not forget the addition of a new stage, bringing in double the entertainment – more bands, more DJs, more dancing with your toes in the sand.

While this new gem doesn’t officially have a name just yet, we’re rolling with “Seaport’s Beach Bar” – because it just fits.

Located at 22nd Street and the beach, this new hotspot offers a laid-back, tropical atmosphere that feels straight out of a Caribbean resort. Whether you’re lounging with a cold drink or popping in for a quick bite between waves, it’s exactly the beachside escape North Wildwood needed.

The island itself only had two other beach bars, Morey’s Piers Pigdog (at the back of Mariners Pier) and ICONA’s Star Bar in Diamond Beach.

This beach bar was many years in the making, as the first CAFRA application went to the state of New Jersey’s DEP a few years back.

So what should we expect from this new bar?

Once you walk up, you need to show your ID to get a wristband, and then you are go to go inside. Once you get your drink, you can hang out in one of many spots, at the bar, the high-top tables, play some corn hole or at a picnic table.

Note, you CANNOT bring drinks from inside the beach bar area outside.

Those worried about music need to know that there will only be acoustic music. DJs and full bands will be kept up on the pier.

When it comes to hours, they are still working out that they will be, but in the meantime, they will be opening at 11:30 AM (and yes, they are open daily now)
