WildCon Comic Book and Pop Culture Show Returns to Wildwood
The Wildwoods Convention Center will kick off the 2026 convention season with WildCon, a full scale comic book and pop culture show taking place Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The one day event is produced by the Jersey Shore Comic Book Show and promises a packed schedule of celebrity guests, artists, vendors, cosplay, and interactive activities for fans of all ages.
Organizers describe WildCon as their first show of the new year and are billing it as a major return to the convention scene, even teasing a surprise guest who has not yet been announced.

Featured Celebrity Guests
Glenn Taranto headlines the guest lineup. Taranto is best known for his work in film and television, including roles in cult favorite comedies and genre projects that have earned him a strong following on the convention circuit. He is also recognized for his work behind the scenes as a producer and filmmaker, making him a popular guest for fans interested in both acting and independent film production.
Voice actor Travis Artz brings animation and gaming appeal to the show. Artz has built a career in voice performance across animation, audio projects, and interactive media, connecting strongly with anime and gaming audiences. He is known for engaging with fans about the voice acting process and the evolving world of character driven storytelling.

Michelle Santiago also appears as an actress and producer. Santiago has worked across film, television, and digital projects, with a focus on character based performances and creative production work. She is a frequent supporter of independent media and fan driven entertainment communities.

WildCon will also feature a strong lineup of comic book creators and artists. Guests include Jeff Brennan, Keith Williams, Joe DelBeato, Criss Madd, Bob Petrecca, Denny Fincke, and Tom Schloendorn. Attendees can meet the artists, purchase original artwork, commission sketches, and discuss the creative process behind comic books, illustration, and graphic storytelling.

The convention floor will feature a wide range of vendors offering comic books, toys, manga, anime merchandise, non sport trading cards, Pokémon items, Funko Pops, Lego sets, Hot Wheels, original art, collectibles, and handmade crafts.
Family friendly activities are a major part of WildCon. Hot Wheels die cast car races will run throughout the day for kids and adults alike. Interactive performances, trivia games covering anime, superheroes, music, and pop culture, and multiple photo opportunities with cosplayers and cosplay groups will be available.
A professional photographer will be on site to take high quality cosplay photos and guest photos throughout the day.

A cosplay contest will take place at 3 p.m., inviting attendees to dress as their favorite superhero, comic book character, anime figure, or movie character for a chance to win prizes. General admission is $10. Children 10 and under are free with a paying adult. Tickets can be purchased in advance through Eventbrite or at the door on the day of the show.
Vendor and exhibitor tables are still available, though wall tables are sold out and limited center tables remain. Standard vendor tables are $80 for one table or $150 for two.
