Wildwood Beach Boxes Go On Sale February 17 With No Price Increase
Summer must be coming up fast because it is officially time to rent your Wildwood Beach Boxes!
The city or Wildwood has just announced that its popular beach box rentals will officially go on sale Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 9:00am. As in past years, rentals are strictly first come, first served and historically sell out quickly and are ONLINE ONLY.
For 2026, the cost remains $480 for the entire season, with no price increase from last year.
That flat rate covers use from May 22 through September 13, allowing renters to keep their beach gear right on the sand all summer long.
What Beach Boxes Are And Why They’re Popular
Wildwood beach boxes are wooden storage units placed directly on the beach, giving residents and visitors a convenient place to store chairs, umbrellas, toys, and other beach essentials.
Each box measures 4 feet by 4 feet, totaling 16 square feet of storage space.
Which we may add, is the best thing since you don’t need to drag everything to the beach daily.
More Boxes Added For 2026
Due to continued demand, Wildwood has added 30 additional beach boxes for the 2026 season. This is aimed at giving more people the opportunity to secure a rental after sellouts in previous years.
Even with the added inventory, city officials caution that availability is still limited and renters are encouraged to log on right at the on sale time to improve their chances.

Season Dates And Rental Details
The 2026 beach box season officially begins May 22 and runs through September 13. Renters are responsible for providing their own lock and must remove all items at the end of the season.
Only beach related items may be stored inside the boxes. Food, beverages, and non beach equipment are not permitted.
