Carrie Underwood Is Returning to Wildwood for Barefoot Country Music Fest 2027
Barefoot Country Music Fest has officially announced its first headliner for 2027, and it is a very familiar name for longtime festival fans.
Eight-time GRAMMY Award winner Carrie Underwood will return to the Wildwood beach next summer as one of the headliners for Barefoot Country Music Fest 2027.

Carrie Underwood Is Returning to Wildwood
The four-day country music festival is scheduled to take place June 17 through June 20, 2027, on the beach between Morey’s Piers.
For Underwood, the announcement is actually a return to where the Barefoot Country Music Fest story began.
She was one of the major headliners announced for the inaugural BCMF and ultimately performed when the festival made its long-awaited debut in Wildwood.

Barefoot Country Music Fest Wildwood 2021 – Recap
Now, she will return as Barefoot Country Music Fest enters its seventh year. (and lets hope it doesn’t rain during her set again)
“Carrie helped kick off our very first year of BCMF, and her performance in Wildwood was nothing short of phenomenal,” Bob Durkin, co-founder of Southern Entertainment, said in announcing the news. “It’s a night our fans still talk about and one we’ll never forget. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Carrie back to Barefoot in 2027.”
Underwood remains one of the biggest names in country music.
Since winning “American Idol” in 2005, she has gone on to record 29 No. 1 singles and earn more than 100 major awards.
Those honors include eight GRAMMY Awards, 16 Academy of Country Music Awards, 25 CMT Music Awards, 17 American Music Awards and seven Country Music Association Awards.
She is also a three-time ACM Entertainer of the Year and the only woman to win the award three times.
All 10 of Underwood’s albums have debuted inside the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, and she has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2008.
Her career has expanded well beyond traditional country music tours, including a Las Vegas residency, 14 consecutive seasons performing the opening for NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” and a return to “American Idol,” this time as a judge on the show that originally launched her career.
Barefoot Country Music Fest Continues to Grow in Wildwood
The announcement also kicks off what should be several months of major artist reveals for the 2027 festival.
Organizers say more than 40 artists are expected to perform during the four-day event, with additional headliners and performers being announced in the coming weeks.
It is pretty incredible to see how much this festival has grown since it was first announced.
What started as a new country music festival on the Wildwood beach has become one of the biggest events on the island’s annual calendar, bringing tens of thousands of visitors into the Wildwoods for four days of concerts.
Over the years, BCMF has brought some of the biggest names in country music directly onto the beach, while also giving regional performers, rising artists and local musicians an opportunity to perform in front of massive crowds.
More headliners and artists are expected to be announced in the coming weeks and if you want to get tickets, you should get them now as they do sell out!
