Barefoot Country Music Fest Extends Wildwood Stay for 5 More Years
The Barefoot Country Music Fest (BCMF) is here to stay! After five successful years, the festival’s organizers and the City of Wildwood have finalized an agreement to extend the festival’s run for another five years.
BCMF has become a cornerstone event for Wildwood, drawing tens of thousands of country music lovers to the beach each year. With its stunning ocean views and top-tier lineup, it’s no wonder the festival is a hit.
As the initial five-year contract is getting ready to wrap up in 2025, Wildwood made it clear they wanted BCMF to stay, and Southern Entertainment, the festival’s producers, felt the same.
A recent city announcement confirmed the new agreement: “WHEREAS the City of Wildwood has negotiated an Agreement, a copy of which is annexed hereto and incorporated by reference here, wherein BCMF, LLC has agreed to coordinate and promote the Barefoot Country Music Festival during the month of June for a term of five (5) as set forth herein.”
Rob Pedlow of Southern Entertainment expressed his gratitude and excitement about the renewed partnership.
“We are incredibly honored to announce that the Barefoot Country Music Fest has been approved for another five years on the beautiful beaches of Wildwood, New Jersey,” Pedlow said. “To say we’re excited is an understatement. Wildwood is home for us and the thousands of fans who join us every year. This wouldn’t be possible without the city’s leadership and the incredible people who make it all run so smoothly. We look forward to continuing to bring unforgettable music experiences to this amazing community.”
BCMF’s influence extends far beyond its four-day duration.

Over the past five years, the festival has become one of Wildwood’s most significant annual events, bringing in millions of dollars in revenue for local businesses.
Hotels, vacation rentals, restaurants, and shops see a surge in visitors, many of whom make BCMF an annual tradition.
The Country theme has also spread to different establishments on the island and by the summer of 2025, we will have two country-themed bars. This past year we welcomed in Wildwood’s Honky Tonk Saloon, across from where the BCMF grounds are, and in Spring we will see the opening of the Country theme beer garden, the Sandy Boots (219 E Lincoln Ave).
These will both be open for the 2025 Barefoot Country Music Festival which is gearing up to be the biggest ever.
The next BCMF is set for June 19-22, 2025, and the lineup is already shaping up to be unforgettable. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the headliners:
- Jason Aldean
- Jelly Roll
- Lainey Wilson
- Rascal Flatts
- Jordan Davis
- Plus, 40+ more artists
The Barefoot Country Music Festival in Wildwood stands out as a truly unique event for several reasons. Set on the beach with the Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop, it combines the best of live country music with the relaxed vibe of a beach vacation.
Unlike most festivals held in traditional venues, this one lets attendees enjoy concerts with their toes in the sand, creating an intimate and laid-back atmosphere.
The festival brings together top-tier country music talent, often featuring both established stars and emerging artists, providing a diverse experience for country music fans.
Beyond the music, the beachside setting adds an extra layer of fun, with the chance to cool off in the ocean between performances, enjoy food and drink from local vendors, and soak in the summer sun.
With five more years secured, BCMF promises to keep delivering the high-energy performances and good vibes that fans have come to love. Whether you’re a longtime attendee or planning your first trip, BCMF 2025 is the perfect opportunity to experience everything this iconic festival has to offer.
