Barefoot Country Music Festival 2024 – Ultimate Tour
The Barefoot Country Music Festival is officially here! For the past week, we have witnessed crews start to build the massive stages, vendor areas, and bars right in the center of Wildwood Beach.
This year’s festival promises to be the most exciting and star-studded event yet, drawing country music fans from all over the nation to the beautiful shores of New Jersey.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Wildwood Boardwalk, the Barefoot Country Music Festival has become a premier summer event in New Jersey.
The BCMF kicked off on Thursday, June 20th, and will run through Sunday. Each of these days will see the festivities begin at 1:00 pm and continue until 11:30 pm when the fireworks go off.
Each night, a new headliner takes the main stage, culminating in memorable performances by Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Kane Brown, and Old Dominion. You can check the rest of the Barefoot Country Music Festival Lineup 2024 by clicking here.
The Wildwood Video Archive stopped by on Thursday to film a quick tour of what the festival grounds look like. You can watch this video at the bottom of this article.
By the time we arrived, the festival grounds were already filled with life.
This fenced-in area can hold about 36,000 people, but usually, on Thursday night, we see fewer visitors as some are stuck at work until Friday.
The layout of the 2024 Barefoot Country Music Festival hasn’t changed much from last year.
As you enter the grounds, you are greeted by the massive BCMF sign. Directly to the left and right of this, you can find the 21+ wristband center.
This is where you need to go to order any kind of drinks within the festival grounds.
Vendors line the inside fence, including Wawa, Dunkin’, the New Jersey Lottery, Barefoot Country Music Festival 2024, and more, giving away tons of gear.
Those looking to get official BCMF merch will need to keep left as that’s the only merch store. Inside, you will find everything from artist gear to BCMF shirts, hats, towels, and more.
There are two cool-down areas, which are indoor stages, located on the right and left of the grounds. Since we are going to have temperatures in the high 90s, these tents will get full quickly since there is air conditioning inside.
One thing to add about the temperature: be sure to bring a ton of sunblock and an empty water bottle.
You will be able to refill those water bottles inside at hydration stations, but the bottle must be empty when you go through security.
The food vendors are all paired together and will be located on the right side of the grounds. Here, you will find many different options to choose from.
We ate at Gus’ Gyro, and it was all fantastic. Shout-out to our friends at The Pierogie Place, who had a stand in the food court. (Those are the best in New Jersey!)
There are many different stages on the grounds, but the two main ones you want to know about are the Jim Beam stage and the main stage.
These stages alternate throughout the day with live music. The main stage, as the name suggests, will be where all the night performances take place.
The headliner for Thursday night was Old Dominion along with Anthony Oliver, who, we have to say, rocked the beach!
The crowds were singing along so loudly that folks by 20th Street in North Wildwood had a free concert in their backyard.
