Behind the Scenes at Barefoot Country Music Fest 2025 – Exclusive Access!
Most fans experience the Barefoot Country Music Fest from the sand, soaking up the sounds of their favorite country stars with the Atlantic Ocean as the backdrop. But what if you could slip behind the curtain and see how the magic really happens?
This year, we got exclusive access to go behind the scenes of BCMF 2025—and let me tell you, it’s a whole different world back there.

We’re halfway through the Barefoot Country Music Fest 2025 (BCMF), and it’s already proving why it’s one of the biggest country music festivals on the East Coast.
With more than 40 artists and tens of thousands of fans filling the beach in Wildwood, New Jersey, BCMF has once again transformed the shoreline into a high-energy, four-day celebration of country music.
We’ve already witnessed unforgettable performances from headliners Lainey Wilson and the reunited Rascal Flatts, lighting up the stage for two electric nights—but with Jason Aldean and Jelly Roll still to come, the beach is about to turn up even louder.
Behind the scenes, though, is where you truly get to appreciate the scale and effort that goes into making this festival run like a well-oiled machine.
Our exclusive tour began backstage at the Artist Hangout and Bar Area—a tucked-away lounge space where musicians, crew, and special guests kick back between sets.
It’s laid-back, beachy, and totally private. Artists not only get their own bar but also a told balcony to view the fair grounds before taking the stage.
It’s like a country beach clubhouse hidden behind the lights and cameras.

We then made our way past rows of artist tour buses, each one lined up just beyond the stage area. These buses serve as rolling homes for the weekend’s top performers, outfitted with everything from leather couches to mini kitchens.
Though we didn’t go inside (some secrets are better kept!), it’s wild to think of your favorite country stars relaxing just a few yards from the sand.
To make sure that these busses and trucks don’t sink down into the sand, crews put down these massive plastic pads that interlock. It’s like a temporary parking lot on the beach.
But the biggest surprise? We got to go on the Main Stage, the heart of BCMF.
From the crowd’s perspective, it’s all lights, sound, and music. But step behind the towering LED walls, and it’s a hive of activity—stagehands moving gear, tech crews checking sound levels, and artists preparing for their sets just steps away from the spotlight.
Standing back there, you realize just how much coordination it takes to pull off even one performance, let alone an entire weekend lineup of back-to-back shows.
And when you watch our video below you will see we even got to go on the stage to do a bit of filming!
A special Thank you to the BCMF team for allowing us behind the scenes to bring you this video!
