Celebrity Spotted Filming on the Wildwood Boardwalk
The Wildwoods are one of the most recognizable and nostalgic shore destinations on the East Coast, so it’s no surprise when a film company picks our iconic boardwalk as the backdrop for their next project.
Visitors were stunned earlier this week when a film crew was spotted setting up along the Wildwood boardwalk, complete with cameras, lighting, and you guessed it, a familiar face.
Celebrity Spotted Filming on the Wildwood Boardwalk
While producers tried to keep things quiet, word quickly spread that Devon Bostick, known for his roles in The 100 and the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, was filming right in the heart of Wildwood.
One of our followers, Susie Mazabel, happened to be visiting when the crew was actively filming. She shared her excitement with us and mentioned that she even had the chance to briefly chat with the crew.
According to Mazabel, the project is a comedy co-written by Bostick and his girlfriend. While the title remains a secret, she revealed the film is expected to take another two years before release.

Filming isn’t limited to Wildwood either; the production is scheduled to move between various locations throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania over the coming weeks.
So what was filmed on the boardwalk? From the photos and video we have seen, Bostick has been seen filming at Snow White and walking down the boardwalk at Shellenger Ave.
Later, some saw them on the beach filming at Mariners Pier as the backdrop.
This isn’t the first time Wildwood has served as a filming location. Over the years, the boardwalk and beaches have appeared in everything from documentaries to travel shows and even in major music videos. But seeing a high-profile celebrity like Bostick out and about always brings a little extra buzz.
Locals say the crew was respectful, friendly, and tried to keep the impact to a minimum, just another day in the Wildwoods, where anything can happen.
