City of Cape May’s 2025 Beach Tags On Sale

Cape May is gearing up for another incredible beach season, and locals and visitors alike can take advantage of a pre-season discount on seasonal beach tags for 2025.

From December 1, 2024, through April 30, 2025, beachgoers can snag their tags for just $30.00 each, offering significant savings compared to in-season pricing.

The discounted tags are valid for individuals aged 12 and older, with children 11 and under enjoying free access to Cape May’s pristine beaches. However, a word of caution for landlords: these tags are not for use in rental properties.

Commercial tags are available and can be found under the “Commercial Tags” section of the City of Cape May website.

Where and How to Buy

Tags are available for purchase both in person and by mail, making it convenient no matter your preference.

In-Person Sales:

Location: Cape May City Hall Tax Office at 643 Washington Street
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM (excluding holidays)
Payment: Cash or check only (made payable to the City of Cape May)

If you prefer to order by mail, Cape May offers a mail-order option during the same period (December 1 – April 30). A shipping and handling fee applies, so plan accordingly.

To order by mail:

Use the 2025 Discounted Mail Order Form available on the City of Cape May website.
