Domino’s Pizza Coming to the Wildwood Boardwalk
In a plot twist that could be mistaken for an April Fools’ Day joke, the aroma of Domino’s Pizza might soon waft through the air on the Wildwood Boardwalk come summer 2024.
Prepare your taste buds for a symphony of flavors, as the renowned pizza chain plans to grace the iconic boardwalk with its signature blend of mouthwatering tastes and unmatched convenience.
This move isn’t just a casual decision; it’s a strategic maneuver aligning with Wildwoods’ reputation as a haven for families, friends, and yes, pizza enthusiasts.
Domino’s, a household name across the nation, has won hearts with its delectable and customizable pizzas. The diverse menu caters to a multitude of taste preferences, making it a fitting addition to the vibrant Wildwood Boardwalk scene.
Why 2901 Boardwalk, you ask? It’s no coincidence; the location is meticulously chosen to offer easy access to beachgoers, boardwalk strollers, and anyone seeking a quick and satisfying meal amidst the seaside ambiance.
This spot, known as Magnolia and the Boardwalk, has seen its fair share of culinary transformations, previously housing Papi’s Tacos and the iconic Stewart’s Root Beer.
If the rumors swirling around prove true, this would mark the second Domino’s Pizza location in Wildwood, solidifying the brand’s presence in this beachfront haven.
Beyond the familiar taste Domino’s brings, it injects another layer of culinary diversity into the already eclectic food scene along the boardwalk. Classic pepperoni pizzas, specialty pies, or customized creations – Domino’s caters to a wide range of preferences, making it a versatile choice for both locals and visitors.

Now, the burning question – why introduce a chain pizza joint on a boardwalk already adorned with some of the best pizza joints in New Jersey? It’s a query echoing in our minds as well.
The scoop on this potential Domino’s addition reached us through the keen eyes of Wildwood enthusiast Bill Cherkasky. His photos, which are used in this article, revealed the transformation underway at the old Papi’s Tacos location, with crews working diligently to clear the space for the imminent Domino’s equipment.
Walls are coming down, everything’s stripped to the studs, and yes, even the kitten area isn’t spared.
The Facebook comments on this post have been mixed with some saying, “Who is going to get Domino’s when you have Sam’s, Mack’s, and many other great pizzas on the Boardwalk” and “That’s what the Boardwalk needs, another pizza place.” Others welcome the pizza saying that “it is a good food for those who don’t know all of our pizza places and just want consistency.”
Wildwood Video Archive was able to verify this news after speaking to local Domino owners. This location will be owned by the same owner as the other location on the island.
Another way this story was verified was by doing just a quick Google search for ‘Dominos in Wildwood.”‘ When you do this it unveils two addresses, 4800 New Jersey Ave and 2901 Boardwalk. The Domino’s website might not list this as an active location in the off-season, but we have seen job postings for a Wildwood location.
We attempted to contact the owner for a comment, but as of the time of reporting, we have not received a response.

The WVA wishes Drew and his crew the best of luck with the new location!
