A familiar sound is rolling into the history books in Wildwood, New Jersey.
After nearly five decades in the bowling industry, the longtime owner of Island Bowl & Family Entertainment Center has officially stepped away, announcing the sale of the beloved venue.

Located at 3401 New Jersey Ave in Wildwood, Island Bowl & Family Entertainment Center has been the go to place any day of the year.
Originally a shuttered bowling alley, Island Bowl was brought back to life in 2013 when it was purchased and fully transformed into a vibrant, family-friendly entertainment destination.

In a heartfelt farewell, the former owner shared:

Island Bowl quickly became a favorite for locals and visitors alike, offering bowling leagues, birthday parties, and weekend specials that created lasting memories for families.

Many fans had taken to their facebook page to show appreciation such as Anne Gallagher McDermott who said “Congratulations. Best of luck in next chapter” and Jenny Zukawski who added “You guys did a great job and have a happy retirement.”
As of now, the identity of the new owners has not been made public, and no immediate changes have been announced.
However, fans of the alley are hoping that the new leadership will carry on the tradition of affordable, wholesome fun that made Island Bowl a Wildwood staple.
