North Wildwood’s Irish Fall Festival is back for its 33rd year, bringing four days of festivities, culture, and entertainment!

Known as the largest Irish festival on the East Coast, this annual event celebrates Irish heritage with a packed schedule of live music, dancing, food, craft vendors, and, of course, plenty of pub activity along Olde New Jersey Avenue.

Whether you’re looking to enjoy traditional Irish dance lessons, take part in the 5K run and 1-mile walk, or catch the Brian Riley Pipe Exhibition, there’s something for everyone.

The festival concludes with the parade on Sunday along Surf Avenue, starting at 20th and continuing to Spruce and Olde New Jersey Avenues.

Event Highlights:

  • Thursday, Sept 19:
    • Golf Tournament: 8:00 AM at Cape May National Golf Club, Cape May Court House. Fee: $130 pre-reg, $140 post-Sept 8.
    • Boxing: 10 amateur boxing bouts featuring U.S.A. vs. Dublin’s Crumlin Boxing Club at Wildwood Catholic Academy. Doors open at 5:30 PM.
  • Friday, Sept 20:
    • Irish Festival: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Food, vendors, and outdoor entertainment throughout the day.
    • Live Music: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM on Olde New Jersey Avenue. Performers include Brothers McGillian, Natterjacks, and Birmingham 6.
  • Saturday, Sept 21:
    • 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk: 8:00 AM at 1st and Olde New Jersey Avenue. Pre-register at RunSignUp.com.
    • Brian Riley Pipe Exhibition: 10:00 AM at Bill Henfey Park, showcasing top pipe bands.
    • Irish Dance Lessons: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Elks Lodge. Free for all attendees.
  • Sunday, Sept 22:
    • Catholic Mass: 10:30 AM at St. Ann’s Church.
    • Parade: 12:30 PM starting at 20th and Surf Avenues, featuring bagpipe bands, fraternal organizations, and dance groups.


Getting Around:

To make transportation easy, the Wildwoods Island Shuttle will run throughout the weekend:

  • Friday & Saturday: 10:00 AM – Closing
  • Sunday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
    The shuttle will operate between the festival area and various points in North Wildwood, with a fare of $3 per person each way. The Shuttle DOES NOT go into Wildwood or Wildwood Crest. Only North Wildwood*****
