This weekend isn’t just about the events, the food, or the fireworks; it’s about holding onto the feeling of summer and the way it connects us to this place and to each other. Every Skeeball win, every tramcar ride, and every walk along the shore has built the story of Summer 2025.

So, as we head into Labor Day Weekend, let’s cherish the laughter, the music, and the final glow of summer nights. Because the Wildwoods aren’t just a destination—they’re a feeling that stays with us long after the season fades.

Fitness in the Plaza – Boot Camp Circuit Training

Friday, August 29 & Monday, September 1 | 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. | Byrne Plaza
Don’t take a vacation from fitness! Kick off and wrap up your holiday weekend with Dion’s Boot Camp Circuit Training, where workouts are made fun with games like Fitness Monopoly. Each class is $10, and all levels are welcome.

This free, two-day shopping event brings talented artisans and crafters to the southern end of the Wildwoods Boardwalk. Expect everything from handmade jewelry and beach-inspired art to delicious treats and unique home décor. Rain or shine, this event is always a crowd favorite, offering the perfect chance to find that one-of-a-kind Wildwood souvenir. (Vendors note: Only book through Joyce Gould at BoardwalkCrafts.com).

Downtown Wildwood Farmers Market

Saturday, August 30 | 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. | Byrne Plaza & Pacific Ave.
The last Farmers Market of the season promises over 70 vendors offering Jersey-fresh produce, baked goods, coffee, pickles, local honey, hot sauce, craft beer, spirits, wine, and handmade gifts. Shoppers can also grab DOOWW swag, including magnets, ornaments, and tees. Bring the dog..there are pet vendors too!

Think you’re a Skeeball pro? Test your skills at the World Championship Skeeball Tournament at Ed’s Funcade. Entry is free, making it a fun and competitive way to spend the evening before hitting the rides or grabbing ice cream on the boards.

The U2 Show NAS Wildwood AirFest

Tickets (day-of or online): Adults $18, Kids 3–12 $14, under 3 free; Active Duty Military free.

Why go: Rare WWII and classic aircraft up close—expected highlights include the Messerschmitt Me 262, FG-1D Corsair, and C-53 “Beach City Baby.” Plus pilots/crew meet-and-greets, live music, food trucks, beer & wine garden, and kid-friendly extras. (Aircraft appearances always subject to change.)

The Wildwood Crest Summer Music Series wraps up the summer with a high-energy performance from The U2 Show, a tribute to the legendary Irish rock band. Bring your beach chairs and blankets, sit back under the stars, and let the music carry you through the evening.

Wildwood End of Summer Block Party

Sunday, August 31 | 1 p.m. – 10 p.m. | Fox Park, Ocean Ave.
One of the most anticipated events of the season, the End of Summer Block Party celebrates with food vendors, crafts, children’s entertainment, and a full lineup of music. This year, the spotlight shines on the Sound of Philadelphia with a tribute to Leon Huff and performances honoring Tony Orlando.
