You know that summer is getting closer when Morey’s Piers starts announcing their opening dates.
Morey’s Piers is changing up how they are opening this year.
It’s no secret that covid had put a spin on the normal operating dates for Morey’s Piers.
In 2020 the piers didn’t fully open until mid-July due to covid-19 rules in the state of New Jersey. That year saw a reduction in which rides were open.
In 2021 the piers didn’t open until early May.
Prior to all of this Morey’s Piers had the yearly tradition of opening up Easter weekend. They would put together a big celebration on the pier including a visit from the Easter Bunny. This year this their main opening routine is going to change.
While Easter takes place on Sunday, April 17th, Morey’s Piers doesn’t plan to be open that weekend.
Mariners Pier will opening on April 29th.
Surfside Pier will also see a change in its opening date. Normally Surfside Pier opens on Mothers Day weekend, instead, it will open on May 21st.
Adventure Pier will open on May 27th, the start of Memorial Day Weekend.
Raging Waters will open on June 9th with Ocean Oasis opening up on June 18th.
