Morey’s Piers Is Closing This Weekend 2023
Say it isn’t so! This weekend is the final weekend of Morey’s Piers 2023 summer season. After months of fun in the sun, and screams on the coasters, it’s time to say “see you later” to the best Seaside Park in America.
The final Morey’s Piers hours are as follows:
- Friday, October 6th: 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Saturday, October 7th: 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Sunday, October 8th: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
To wrap up the year on a high note, Morey’s Piers will conclude its Oktoberfest extravaganza. Immerse yourself in live music, savor traditional German delicacies, and relish the same beloved games and rides that have captured your heart at Morey’s Pier.
It’s important to note that these festivities exclusively apply to Mariner’s Pier, as the other two piers have been shuttered for the past few weeks.
In addition to their regular menu offerings, Founders will tantalize your taste buds with a meticulously crafted selection of Bavarian pretzels, bratwurst, German potato salad, schnitzel, and more. Beverage aficionados will be delighted by the array of beers and tasting flights available for enjoyment at an outdoor “Biergarten” nestled behind the scenes. Beer connoisseurs can even take home souvenir 25 oz. bier steins as mementos.
The Biergarten, a sheltered oasis just in front of the majestic Giant Wheel, will cater to sports enthusiasts, broadcasting all the exhilarating NFL and MLB games.
Right before the Biergarten stands the main stage, where the weekend’s lineup of sensational bands awaits:
- Oct. 6 – JJ Rupp – 6:30-10:30 p.m.
- Oct. 7 – Big House Band – 1-5 p.m.
- Oct. 7 – LauraLea & Tripp Fabulous – 6:30-10:30 p.m.
- Oct. 8 – Kono Nation -12:30-4:30 p.m.
The Wildwood Video Archive will be there on Sunday to ring out the end of the summer. Be sure to stop by and say hi as we film the final videos on the pier!
If you didn’t stop by last year, not to worry, the WVA filmed a full recap which you can watch below.
