NEW Beach Bar Coming to The Wildwoods!
Those who stopped by the Wildwoods for Memorial Day Weekend may have seen something being built right on the beach.

NEW Beach Bar Coming to The Wildwoods!
Even though the Wildwoods have the largest and cleanest beaches in the state of New Jersey, we weirdly only have a handful of bars right on the beach.
The largest being PigDog, which Morey’s Piers operates at the end of Mariner’s Pier and another bar in Diamond Beach at ICONA called The Star Bar.
Now, I know some might argue, “Diamond Beach isn’t technically the Wildwoods,” but hey—it’s still on our island.
That said, a brand-new beachfront bar is set to open in North Wildwood, right behind Seaport Pier at 22nd and the boardwalk.
Over the past few years, we have seen the old Seaport Village transform into the booming party pier that it is now. What started as just a main building bar and a pool now includes a massive stage, multiple bars outside, and some killer food.
For summer 2025, the team at Seaport Pier is expanding again, this time on the beach.

Over the past few weeks, crews have been hard at work rapidly constructing a new beach bar setup, complete with a solid-roofed gazebo and a thatch-covered bar structure that gives off a classic tropical vibe.
Surrounding the bar are neatly arranged high-top tables with stools, and small tables all enclosed within a fenced area.
To complete the atmosphere, decorative palm trees have been placed throughout the seating space, adding to the beachy, island-inspired feel.
The Wildwood Video Archive stopped by ahead of Memorial Day Weekend to snap some photos, and since then, crews have made significant progress. You can catch the video update at the end of this article.
So what do we know about this bar? Not much at this time.
I know many people were concerned that having a bar on the beach might disrupt their relaxing experience. The good news is that a music policy has been put in place to help address those worries.
- From 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., only acoustic performances without amplification are allowed.
- During those same daytime hours, recorded music may be played but must remain inaudible beyond the Beach Bar area.
- Between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., amplified live and recorded music is allowed, but must comply with the city’s noise ordinance
Aka, their music shouldn’t be bothering you.
This beach bar should be opening in the next few weeks. We will be sure to keep you updated.
