Here is a press release from the City of North Wildwood in regards to the planned St. Patrick’s Day Ceremony and Parade for March 14th.

North Wildwood – The City of North Wildwood has been monitoring the COVID-19 (Corona Virus) outbreak throughout the United States and State of New Jersey very closely. Despite the State of New Jersey issuing a State of Emergency, there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 (Corona Virus) in Cape May County. Therefore, as of today, Wednesday, March 11th, 2020, the City of North Wildwood St. Patrick’s Day Ceremony is still on, as scheduled.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to practice good hygiene, and City Officials encourage anyone who is sick or with a weak immune system to stay home. Attached please find a brochure from the Cape May County Health Department regarding the Corona Virus, including ways to prevent, care, and treat for COVID-19.

“Safety for our residents and visitors is paramount,” said Mayor Rosenello. “At this present time, we are not aware of any confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Cape May County. I remind residents and visitors to practice good hygiene, and if you are feeling sick, seek medical attention and do not attend public events, as you will be putting others at risk,” said Mayor Patrick Rosenello.
