Plane Lands On Ocean City Beach

This morning around 8:30am in Ocean City, a plane landed on the beach.

First responders announce that at 49th street beach a small single engine plane had to make an emergency landing. The pilot, who was the only person on the plane, used a strip of the beach as a runway.

The plane ran about two hundred feet before it’s wheels got caught on the sand and flipped the plane.

The pilot wasn’t injured and there was minor damage to the plane.

Beach goer, Joan Samonisky, was able to capture the landing on camera. Check it out below.

The plane was towed away a few hours ago after the FAA completed their investigation. Brian Sullivan was able to capture that on camera.
