Now, the wait is over for fans down the shore as Steve’s Prince of Steaks officially opened its doors in Wildwood on Saturday, April 20.

Located at 2701 New Jersey Avenue, the new spot brings the flavors of Philly to the beach.

Formerly the home of Classic Sandwiches, the building underwent a transformation, trading its bright green exterior for a sleek black finish.

An iconic neon sign, crafted by Wildwood’s own ABS Sign Company, now beckons visitors, signaling that authentic cheesesteak goodness awaits within.

Steve’s Prince of Steaks in Wildwood marks the fourth location for the renowned cheesesteak joint, joining two spots in Northeast Philly and one in Langhorne.

And while the location may be new, the commitment to quality and tradition remains steadfast.

What sets Steve’s apart is its dedication to using only the finest ingredients. Each cheesesteak is crafted from tender slices of juicy, thinly-sliced ribeye steak, cooked to perfection on a flat-top griddle to achieve that signature charred flavor.

The meat is then nestled into a fresh roll from Amoroso’s, a name synonymous with Philadelphia’s culinary scene for its soft, chewy texture that perfectly complements the savory filling.

Customers can choose from classic toppings like fried onions and Cheez Whiz or opt for a personalized touch with options such as mushrooms, peppers, or provolone cheese.

No matter the combination, each sandwich is a testament to the time-honored tradition of the Philly cheesesteak.

For those who have long savored the flavors of Steve’s Prince of Steaks, the Wildwood opening is cause for celebration.
