The Cork Yard Bar Is Coming To Wildwood

The Cork Yard Bar Is Coming To Wildwood

While we are heading into the end of the summer season we are still seeing new places opening up all around town. Remember that the fun doesn’t end in the Wildwoods on Labor Day weekend. The Wildwoods have events and activities all year round.

One of those places is a highly anticipated bar patio called “Cork Yard.”

“Cork Yard” is the brainchild of Steve del Monte who owns the Cork ‘N’ Bottle located at 4601 Atlantic Ave in Wildwood, New Jersey.

Over the past few years, the Cork ‘N’ Bottle has become stable on the island as a year-round liquor store that offers an extensive wine and beer selection (plus they deliver). That is going to change with the “Cork Yard.”

Wanting to add a new feature to the area, the team at Cork ‘N’ Bottle has decided to add an outdoor bar patio and call it “Cork Yard.” (yes, it’s a play on the words courtyard [and we do approve of this name]).

The Cork Yard will be located to the right side of the building and offer an atmosphere not seen here in the Wildwoods.

They will remove the four existing parking spots, build a covered patio, and add beautiful landscaping, lights, and seating.

If you walk by their property right now you can see that contraction is underway and is moving fast. When we visited to film our latest Wildwood construction update video, the roof above the bar was being finished and the bar was being built.

Posted just on the outside of the property is their vision board. Here Cork ‘N’ Bottle posted some ideas of what the Cork Yard will look like once it’s done.

While there is no date set on when the Cork Yard will open, we are told that it could be done sometime in early fall.

We wish the Cork ‘N’ Bottle the best of luck with the Cork Yard and are looking forward to its grand opening!

For updates on their project be sure to check out their website.
