For those who loves to catch a good movie we have some great news for you. The Business Improvement District of Wildwood, “BID” is going to be putting on free movies all summer long!
This event is being called “Downtown Tuesday Free Family Movie Night!” As the title explains, the movies will be hosted on Tuesday nights. The time the movies will start is around 8:30 or when it gets dark enough so that they can play the film. The movie night will be located on the same located of where the “Downtown Wildwood Farmers Market” is held. That address is on the corner of pacific and Schellenger Avenues.
July 7th was the first showing of movies at the “Downtown Tuesday Free Family Movie Night” and it was surely a hit! Over two hundred (200) guests showed up to watch.
I bet you are wondering what you should bring with you when you come? That is easy, bring a comfortable beach chair or a nice and cosy beach blanket. Admission is free and if you are looking for parking look no farther. Parking for the event is completely free. The parking lot you need to look for to park for free is right behind the Pacific and Schellenger corner. For those who also do not know, this is the same lot where you can park for free for the “Downtown Wildwood Farmers Market”.
Popcorn, candy and cold drinks will be for sale before and during the movie. This way you can cuddle up with your sweetheart and enjoy a nice popcorn and a coke!
The Wildwood Business Improvement District plans to fun this event until September 1st 2015. As of right now the next two movies have been announced. On July 14th the movie showing will be, “Despicable Me”. On July 21st, the movie showing will be, “The Goonies”.
