Just one year after opening its first location at 21st Street and the boardwalk in North Wildwood, the popular shop is gearing up to open a second location for summer 2025.

The new store will be located at 5314 Boardwalk, in the shops under the Ocean Towers, and is set to open its doors Memorial Day Weekend 2025.

If you haven’t been to the original Tram Car Store yet, you’re missing out on one of the most unique and nostalgic merchandise spots on the Jersey Shore.

This place is a must for tram car lovers, packed with everything from towels, sandals, and boogie boards to magnets, drinkware, backpacks and those famous plushies that actually say, “Watch the Tramcar Please!”

And there is a tramcar plushie for everyone and in every size starting with small keychain tramcars one up to massive 2 foot long plush tramcars.

And that is just the short list of things they offer. They even have plush seagulls, beach toys, pins and you can buy tram car tickets (yes and use them on the tram car)

It’s quickly become a go-to destination for boardwalk visitors looking to bring home a piece of summer fun.

The Wildwood Video Archive stopped by this location last year and film a full tour video which you can watch the bottom of this article.

Behind the scenes is George Saleeb, the creative force behind the Tram Car Store. He’s been working on the Wildwood Boardwalk since 1999, and this expansion marks another exciting chapter in his boardwalk journey.

Saleeb not only created the Tram car plushie and store but also owns and operates several of the best shops on the boardwalk, including the St. George’s Stores.

The Tram Car Store’s new location is sure to be another hit, bringing the same fun and nostalgic vibe that fans have come to love.

If you can’t make your way down to the store to buy your Wildwood Tram Car merch, you get them online by clicking here.

Whether you’re looking for a unique souvenir, a quirky gift, or just want to experience a little piece of Wildwood’s history, this expanded presence on the boardwalk will have something for everyone.

Mark your calendars for the grand opening on Friday, May 23rd, immediately following the Flags of Liberty Ceremony (around 11:30 AM).

So, whether you’re a longtime Wildwood fan or a first-time visitor, make sure to stop by the new location and pick up your very own piece of tramcar magic when it opens next summer.

It’s sure to be a fantastic addition to your boardwalk experience!
