The Vibes Hotel Is Officially Open! – First Look
Located at 3900 Atlantic Ave in Wildwood, New Jersey, The Vibes Hotel is a boutique hotel that combines a Doo-Wop style design with modern amenities.
On Tuesday, June 25th, the hotel held its grand opening, attended by many city officials.

The Vibes Hotel has been under construction at the corner of Atlantic and Spicer for the past few months.
Crews have been working seven days a week to transform the existing properties into one cohesive resort.
Before becoming The Vibes Hotel, these properties were the Binns Motor Inn and the Bonito Motel, both with long histories on the island.
The Binns Motor Inn, a classic hotel from the mid-1940s, was built by the Binns sisters. At one point, there was a restaurant associated with the hotel that shut down in the 1980s.
Behind the Binns sat the Bonito Motel, built about 20 years later during the massive Doo-Wop era on the island. Its original design included angled support beams and a blast-off roof.
Over the years, these two motels began to decline and were not in the best shape.
In November 2023, a new owner purchased the properties with the vision of creating a resort that seamlessly blends nostalgic charm with modern comforts.
Many motel owners are discovering that visitors want to stay in a Doo-Wop motel but also desire modern amenities. This is exactly what the owners of The Vibes have achieved.
The crews initially stripped down both buildings, in some cases down to the studs, and carried out significant repairs.
They then constructed a new facade on the Binns, featuring blast-off roofs and vibrant colors, and added new balconies to some of the rooms.
The Bonito side, already built in the Doo-Wop style, underwent a complete refresh of every single room.

This extensive upgrade included the introduction of top-notch furniture and state-of-the-art amenities, offering a variety of room types to choose from. Guests can book a range of room options, from queen rooms to spacious suites perfect for families.
Each of the 88 rooms, whether interior or exterior, has been meticulously designed to reflect the mid-century modern theme.
