Boardwalk Bunk Down (Friday, Saturday Sunday)
Set up camp on Surfside Pier, then enjoy the rides on Mariner’s Pier all day Saturday. When you’ve had your fill of amusements, head back to Surfside Pier, grab your beach chair or blanket and settle in for a movie, with complimentary popcorn, under the Great White Roller Coaster. Rain or shine.
New Jersey Jeep Invasion (Friday, Saturday Sunday)
The New Jersey Jeep Invasion is an annual all JEEP event held on the beach in Wildwood, New Jersey. The entire event is in the sand, just a couple hundred feet from the iconic 2-mile long Wildwood boardwalk, with over 300 rides and attractions. The New Jersey Jeep Invasion offers two and a half days of Jeep activities, access to the industry’s top vendors and an opportunity to play on our exclusive beach obstacle course powered by Rausch Creek Off-road Park. NJ Jeep Invasion also consists of a show and shine, which is judged by professional car show judges, and one of the area’s most impressive raffles full of over the top items donated from our amazing show sponsors. U.S. Junior Nationals Coed Basketball Tournament (Friday, Saturday Sunday)
This new event will feature eight courts under one roof at the Wildwoods Convention Center with COED basketball teams (ages 12-17) from all over the country! Veterans of Foreign Wars and Auxiliary Convention (Friday, Saturday)
Annual convention for VFW and Auxiliary at the Wildwoods Convention Center. Event concludes on Saturday with a parade at 1:30 p.m. along Atlantic Avenue, beginning at 25th Avenue in North Wildwood and ending at Andrews Avenue in Wildwood. 609.393.1929 or http://www.njvfw.org
‘Cabs at the Beach’ Drum & Bugle Corps Competition (Saturday)
Event is held in Maxwell Field, located at Youngs and Park Blvd., Wildwood. The Drum Corps competition will feature the Hawthorne Caballeros Drum and Bugle Corps as well as other teams from NJ, PA & CT. ALS Bike Ride (Saturday)
Morey’s Piers is proud to partner with the ALS Association in the 20th Annual Ride to Defeat ALS. Ride to Defeat ALS is a non-competitive bike-a-thon that’s fun for people of all ages and riding abilities. Join hundreds of cyclists for a ride through scenic southern NJ. Enjoy the support of wonderful volunteers who cheer-on the riders and help provide a worry-free cycling experience. Upon arrival at the end-point in Wildwood, NJ, the summertime fun begins! Downtown Wildwood Farmer’s Market (Saturday) Morey’s Piers Beach Bop
The Downtown Wildwood Farmer’s Market will take place every Saturday from 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend, rain or shine. The market is located at Byrne Plaza, Oak and Pacific Avenues, Wildwood featuring farm fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, plants, homemade baked goods, honey, wine, guacamole, herbs, nuts, organic tea, jams, jellies, jerky, jewelry, soaps, handmade non-food items and more! There will be live music from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., strolling children’s entertainment and a live broadcast from 98.7 The Coast every week. FREE parking is available. Celebrate Father’s Day with the entire family. While there’s always fun for everyone at Morey’s Piers, Dad gets some extra TLC on the piers this day, with FREE admission to rides and slides! Surfside Pier at 25th Avenue & Mariner’s Landing Pier at Schellenger Avenue.
