Under the leadership of Julia Contino, a seasoned beauty entrepreneur with eight years of experience operating beauty studios in Manhattan, Mava Beauty Lounge aims to set new standards in the local beauty scene.
Julia has spent the past few months seeking the perfect location, and she chose Haddonfield for its picturesque streets, rich history, and welcoming community.
“Haddonfield is not only rich in history and culture but also in natural beauty,” says Contino.
As the first Ukrainian-inspired salon to open in New Jersey, Mava Beauty Lounge stands out with its distinctive European approach to beauty services.
The salon specializes in manicures, pedicures, and eyelash extensions, all delivered with meticulous attention to detail and sophistication.
The name “Mava” is inspired by the Ukrainian folklore figure Mavka, a symbol of youthful beauty and the essence of nature.
Mavkas are traditionally depicted as stunning young women with long, flowing hair, intimately connected to the natural environment’s beauty and mystique.
At Mava Beauty Lounge, clients can indulge in a variety of nail treatments, including classic manicures and pedicures, intricate nail art using E-file techniques, and dry pedicures.
Beyond exceptional nail services, the salon also offers personalized eyelash sets that accentuate natural beauty, with each look uniquely tailored to the individual.
“Our goal is to create a welcoming space where clients can escape everyday stresses and indulge in well-deserved pampering,” says Julia Contino.
To celebrate their grand opening, Mava Beauty Lounge will host an open house on Friday, June 7th, from 12 pm to 3 pm.
