Wawa Requests DeadEnd Road Removed

North Wildwood’s Wawa has been at it’s current location for only a few years now but most of us remember the times when it was just a parking lot. Before it’s time Maryland Avenue used to be a through-way street. After Wawa was built, the City of North Wildwood thought it would be a good idea to cut Maryland Avenue in half creating two dead ends.

The noticed was received and filed during Council Meeting that took place on August 1st.

We reached out to Wawa for a comment but no one got back to us.

North WildwoodMayor Patrick Rosenello said that the request must be put in front of the North Wildwood zoning board.
