Illuminate Smile Specialists

Kicking off our tour at 16th Street, Illuminate Smile Specialists is a unique new spot on the boardwalk offering teeth enhancement services.

They provide professional teeth whitening and tooth gem designs, adding a touch of sparkle to your smile.

Starting at $45, these services are quick and convenient, perfect for a boardwalk visit.

Little Nicky’s and Pompeo’s Grand Opening This Friday!

Pompeo’s – Under New Management

Next door, Pompeo’s has reopened under new management. The team from Little Nicky’s next door has taken over, promising to maintain the beloved establishment’s legacy while introducing new events, such as their already popular Easter brunch.

Pompeo’s will continue to offer meals throughout the day and will also offer Little Nicky’s options.

Anthony’s Pizza

Anthony’s Pizza has taken over the spot previously occupied by Fisher’s Steak and Spaghetti House at 23rd Street.

Known for their delicious offerings at the Coliseum Ocean Resort in Wildwood Crest, Anthony’s now brings their culinary delights to a larger space on the boardwalk, including a new breakfast menu.

NEW - Papelon - A Taste of Latin America on the Wildwood BoardwalkPapelon – Wildwood’s Latin Kitchen

Located at 24th Street, Papelon is the boardwalk’s latest Latin kitchen. Serving mouth-watering dishes from Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Colombia, and more.

Their menu includes everything from breakfast burritos to empanadas.

Papelon promises a dining experience that transports you to the sunny shores of Latin America.

Curley’s Spiked Shake Ups at Morey’s Piers

Morey’s Piers has introduced a delightful twist to their famous Curley’s Shake Ups by spiking them with vodka or tequila.

In the offseason, Morey’s took one of their food stands on Surfside Pier and converted the building into a giant yellow and green bar.

Now housed in a vibrant yellow and green bar on Surfside Pier, these spiked lemon, lime, or orange shake-ups start at $14.50, with refills at $13.

Pro tip: ask for half the amount of sugar for a more balanced taste.

Route 66 – Under New Management

Route 66 at Juniper Avenue is under new management but continues to offer great food in a nostalgic 1950s setting.

Originally listed for sale, it remains a beloved part of the boardwalk dining scene, much to the relief of its many fans.

Domino’s Pizza

Domino’s Pizza has made its debut on the boardwalk at Magnolia Avenue, in the former location of Papi’s Tacos.

This newly renovated spot is the first beach-side Domino’s in America, offering a familiar taste for visitors.

This location is only one of a handful on the Wildwood Boardwalk that offers views from a second level looking down the beach and boardwalk.

Fudge Factory Removed from the Boardwalk

One notable change this year is the removal of the Fudge Factory. This location had been closed and in it’s place is a T-shirt shop.

Shore Donut Cones

Shore Donut Cones has opened at Oak Avenue, taking over the space once occupied by Eleanor’s Gift Store. Eleanor’s was one of the oldest gift stores on the boardwalk.

Famous for their handmade, fresh-baked donut ice cream cones topped with ice cream and various toppings, this new addition is sure to draw long lines this summer.

New Boardwalk (Phases 3, 4, 5)

Phases 3, 4, and 5 of the Wildwood Boardwalk Reconstruction Project were completed in early May, giving the boardwalk a fresh and sturdy new look from Oak to Spicer Avenue, including the Cedar Avenue connection.

This comprehensive project included significant overhauls, particularly in sections that required extensive refurbishment, while other parts only needed minor touch-ups.

The careful reconstruction ensures the boardwalk remains safe and enjoyable for all visitors.

Planning for Phases 6 and 7 is underway, with work expected to begin in the fall, pending funding plus a project in North Wildwood should be underway too.

Honkyy Tonk Saloon

The spirit of the boardwalk is alive and well with numerous live music and entertainment options. New for this year is the Honky Tonk Saloon.

Located on the street level of the Boardwalk Mall, Honky Tonk Saloon is a country-themed bar offering great food and drinks.

It fits in perfectly with the annual Barefoot Country Music Festival that takes place just across the boardwalk.

With all these exciting changes and new additions, the Wildwood Boardwalk is set for an unforgettable summer in 2024.

Whether you’re looking to indulge in new culinary delights, enjoy a spiked shake-up, or simply stroll along the newly refurbished boardwalk, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
