Wildwood Labor Day Weekend Events 2022

Say it isn’t so… Labor Day weekend is this week. Memorial Day weekend, which is the unofficial start of the summer season, felt like it was yesterday. Believe it or not, it was 95 days ago. Indeed time does fly when you were having fun at the beach.

Since this weekend is the unofficial end of the summer season let’s break down all the amazing events taking place.

One thing to keep in mind is that the Wildwoods have events all year round. (plus it stays warm down here into October).

Friday, September 2nd

26th Annual AIR FEST at NASW

Please join us for the 26th Annual Airfest at the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum! This super fun event takes place September 2-5, 2022 from 10 am-4 pm each day. The Military Aviation Museum/Fighter Factory will be returning in 2022! Shuttle Confirmed for Saturday & Sunday to help with Parking.

Friday Night Fireworks

[The last regularly scheduled Wildwoods Boardwalk Fireworks] Kick off Labor day weekend on the Wildwoods Boardwalk with Friday night fireworks at 10 p.m.! The fireworks will be launched from the beach at Pine Avenue and are visible from anywhere on the Wildwoods Boardwalk! Rain date is Sunday at 10 p.m. As a note, there are no fireworks on Labor Day Monday.

The last Downtown Wildwood Farmers Market

The place to be every Saturday morning from Memorial Day to Labor Day Weekend! Each week you will find over 60 vendors selling farm goods, baked goods, jewelry, crafts, specialty foods, wine, beer, spirits, and much more! Spread across both sides of Pacific Avenue in Byrne Plaza & Beyond, on Pacific Avenue from Oak Avenue (3400 Pacific Ave) to Schellenger Avenue (3501 Pacific Ave), it’s like a treasure hunt where you will find something for everyone and discover new offerings each week!

Labor Day Weekend Boardwalk Craft Show

Slammedenuff NJ Car Show

The show will feature over 250 customized road-legal air suspension cars from the mid-1990s to brand new at the Wildwoods Convention Center from 1 p.m. – 7 p.m. Meet new people that share the same interest as you in upgrading your ride in the way that expresses yourself! Sunday, September 4th

Sunrise On Sunday Veteran Flag Service

A free weekly ceremony every Sunday morning to raise the casket flag of a Veteran to honor and remember ALL Veterans, held at the Lou Booth Amphitheater at 2nd and Ocean Avenues in North Wildwood. Arrive 10 minutes before sunrise to participate in a 20-minute tribute and inspirational message at the most beautiful vista on the Jersey Shore. This location offers photo ops galore! The Flag Raising Ceremony is weather permitting as Veteran Casket Flags are not for all-weather. Cancellations will be posted within a half hour of the scheduled service on the Weekly Schedule page on SunriseOnSunday.com.

Wildwood End of Summer Block Party

Wildwood’s End of Summer Labor Day Weekend Block Party will take place from 1:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m. at Fox Park, located on Ocean Avenue directly across from the Wildwoods Convention Center. Enjoy free music, entertainment, food vendors, craft vendors, and more as we say goodbye to another great summer here in Wildwood.
