Wildwood Lifeguard Schedule Announced for 2025
This is not a drill, folks!! The beaches are getting ready to be ‘open’ for the season.
As summer quickly approaches, the Wildwood Beach Patrol has officially released its pre-season lifeguard schedule, ensuring beachgoers can safely enjoy the ocean beginning Memorial Day Weekend.

Wildwood Lifeguard Schedule Announced for 2025
Lifeguards will be on duty for the first time this season over the MDW —May 24, 25, and 26—and then every weekend leading up to June 14 and 15. (after that they will be up on the beach daily until Labor Day Weekend.
During these pre-season dates, lifeguard coverage will be available from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

As a reminder, as we always warn, only enter the water when lifeguards are on duty.
For your safety, the Wildwood Beach Patrol will designate “No Swimming Areas” using red “No Swim” flags.

These zones are off-limits for swimming due to strong currents, lack of lifeguard visibility, or other hazards.
In the event of an emergency, beachgoers are urged to call 9-1-1 immediately.
During this early season, lifeguards will be stationed at the following 12 beach entrances:
- Cresse Avenue
- Leaming Avenue
- Rio Grande Avenue
- Andrews Avenue
- Baker Avenue
- Youngs Avenue
- Spicer Avenue
- Lincoln Avenue
- Oak Avenue
- Maple Avenue
- Magnolia Avenue
- 26th Avenue
While the temperatures might be getting much warmer, please do remember that the Wildwoods are seasonal towns.
Not everything is open yet for the season and many things up on the boardwalk are not open mid-week. Keep these things in mind as you are planning your trips in the coming weeks leading up to Memorial Day Week.
