There are a few rules that come along with this new parking. You can only park on the beach if your vehicle is four wheel drive and you have to be off the beach by 6PM.
Starting Memorial Day Weekend (Weekends until June 15th and then every day from then on) vehicles can use this new lot.
During special events, such as beach concerts, the city plans the keep the lots open into the night and have a $20 price tag.
