North Wildwood Beach Patrol Incident Report For Summer 2019

It’s finally starting to feel like the unofficial start of the summer. After a brief thunderstorm this morning we awake to a fantastic email from the North Wildwood Beach Patrol.

Normally by now we know the schedule for the North Wildwood Beach Patrol but due to COVID-19 we didn’t know when they would start patrolling the beach.

Today we finally get our answer. Below is the press release North Wildwood Beach Patrol put out.

The North Wildwood Beaches will be open and protected Saturday, Sunday and Monday Memorial Day Weekend.

Lifeguards will be on duty from 10AM- 5:30pm. The following streets will have lifeguards stationed there: 1st & Surf, 2nd & JFK, 2nd and Ocean, 7th, 9th, 11th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 22nd and 25th.

Lifeguards will resume duty on May 30th and 31st.

Beginning June 6th, lifeguards will be on duty daily from 10AM – 5:30PM

Reminders: Only swim at guarded beaches, Only swim when lifeguards are on duty, always swim in front of the lifeguards, practice social distancing and stay safe!
