There is a new breakfast place coming to North Wildwood this summer!
Please welcome Jersey Joe’s Waffles and Eatery to the island.
This place is still flying under the radar but here is what we know so far.
About a week ago new signs started popping outside of 2410 Atlantic Ave in North Wildwood.
This location was the home of Square Peg Round Hole Eatery which opened in summer 2019. Most notably, this was the location of the former Jimbos Restaurant.
Last year Square Peg Round Hole Eatery didn’t open due to the covid-19 pandemic.
In a post on Facebook, they mentioned that “after shutting our doors and taking some time to think we have unfortunately decided that we are not going to re-open this year for indoor dining.” They turned to catering BBQs instead of opening the restaurant.
With the temporally closed Samual’s Pancake House thrown into the mix, North Wildwood became two breakfast spots short last summer season.
The new Jersey Joe’s Waffles and Eatery will be one of two new places coming to North Wildwood.
Currently, the Star Diner is becoming the Marvis Pancake house. If you would like more information on that click the link below.
Jersey Joe’s Waffles doesn’t have a social media presence yet. By looking inside of the location is seems that it could be several weeks until we see any kind of movement. There is a sign advertising jobs but no phone number was posted to contact them.
We are very extremely excited for Jersey Joe’s Waffles and Eatery and wish them the best of luck.
Tune back later for more details.
