A little bit of summer will be staying around longer!
Wildwood Tramcar Extends Their 2022 Season
About a week ago it was announced that the world-famous Wildwood Boardwalk Tramcar would be closing for the summer on Saturday, September 10th.
Due to the covid pandemic, low staffing, and weather, the tramcar had been closing earlier in the year. Prior to this, the tramcar would make it to at least the third weekend in September.
Well, we have some great news to share. The Wildwood Tramcar will be moving its closing date from the 10th to Saturday, September 27th.
This change was made after staffing was made available.
The NEW Wildwood tramcar schedule is;
The 7-Day Operation, from 11 am to 11 pm will run through September 5th (Labor Day Monday)
From Tuesday, September 6th through Thursday, September 8th, the tramcars will run 4 pm to 11 pm.
Friday, September 9th, and Saturday, September 10th from 11 am to 11 pm.
Friday, September 16th, and Saturday, September 17th (New Jersey Firemen’s Convention) from 11 am to 10 pm. (closing hours could change based on attendance)
Friday, September 24th, and Saturday, September 25th (North Wildwood Irish Fall Festival) from 11 am to 10 pm. (closing hours could change based on attendance)
One thing to keep in mind. After Labor Day weekend, there are still tons of events in the Wildwoods. Be sure to visit for some of the events mentioned above and so many more.
We thank the Tramcar and operations for allowing them to run later into the season. 2023 will be the 75th year of hearing “Watch The Tram Car Please!”
