North Wildwood Bar Put Up For Sale
The way things have been going so far this off-season in the Wildwoods, you may not recognize it when you come back next summer.
During our monthly, Wildwoods Construction updates, we highlight most of the projects in our area. This off-season we have seen the highest number of projects, sales, and construction. There looks to be another one to add to that now.

A new listing has hit the market in North Wildwood and I’m sure people will be upset. The Salty Mermaid Bar and Grilled located at 2507 Delaware Ave is now up for sale.
This was a shock for most who, us like, would see a line out the door every night of the summer at the Salty Mermaid.
When they closed for the season a few weeks back, there were no hints that they would sell. (We would know since we were there on their last day of the season)
The listing goes into detail about what you could be purchasing to the tune of $4.2 Million.
It goes on to say;

To recap, for $4.2 Million you get the Salty Mermaid and the house on 229 W 26th Avenue.

The Salty Mermaid opened in North Wildwood back in August 2018. The owners did a full refurbishment on the property since it sat empty for three years. Before that, it was an Irish pub called O’Boyle’s.
Of course, who could forget what this place was originally for many decades, Tony’s Island Cafe [They had the best wings on the island]
